This is a super soft and comfortable bed for my puppy. The small is bigger than I thought it was to be honest. I probably could have gotten an extra small for my 11.5 lb puppy. I'm not sure if she'll continue to grow so just in case probably good I got this one since it's not a cheap bed. To be clear the pink lining is not waterproof. Only the black bottom is. I know because she peed in it. Also even thought I set my dryer to low heat per the bed's instructions, my community dryer must be broken because I think it got dried on medium/high heat and melted the fabric of the pillow inserts. No filling is leaking out however so it's fine. I'm still a bit pissed at my dryer.Received this bed and must say I was quite surprised and pleased to find that the bed was both well made and beautiful. It is however big - real big. (Which of course the demensions should have clued me in to. I'm sure the large size would accommodate dogs to 60 pounds.) My 3 dogs (12 to 22 pounds) can all fit in at one time but I purchased it as a bed for my middle-sized dog and he loves it. He can snuggle next to the bolster or stretch out. Both the bottom and inner cushion are zippered to enable machine washing which is important. When I ordered the bed it was on sale for $42.23 plus $3.48 tax so around $45 total with free shipping. It would, without question, have cost three times as much at a box store so it was definitely a great buy and a lovely product.We bought this bed for our older large dog because it was machine washable. He loves it but unfortunately so do our two cats and they take it from him. He is so sweet he refuses to make them move. When the cats give it up he uses it happily. Will probably buy another one just for the cats.Cushy and warm and no bad remarks from our boy.Yeah it looks great but it isnt durable and the cushion flattens out along with the bolster in a short amount of time and since under the cushion is plastic there isn't much support.Been a month and have a new rescue so had to wash the bed. Gentle cycle , cold water and woolite then hang to dry and it still faded about 3 to 4 shades lighter than the bolster. Not good !My little 16 lb. dog loves this bed! It is soft and cushy. She fits in it nicely with a little room to spare. The center pillow comes out for washing. It comes in 2 pieces: the base and the center pillow--there's no assembly required.My dog is using it a lot which gives us more room in our bed!Great material. Soft enough for a picky animal but strong enough for a digger which my baby loves to do!
