Got this for my dog as he has a huge back problem and can not jump up on the bed..The only problem I had with it was that the type of carpet that covers the frame does not give a good traction for my dog..he would slide back down on it..SO I got a throw rug with a rubber back to it and stapled it to the ramp and he can now climb up on it with out sliding back down..I liked the ease of set-up and moving around my houseI do not care for the very light wood used and would be much better if the wood was sealed.Bought this product for my older dogs as they like to sit on the couch. My pit bull started to walk up the ramp and the carpeted section SLID OUT OF THR FRAME causing her to fall in the floor. There was NOTHING holding it in place. The whole thing seemed a bit wobbly to my shock MOST OF THE SCREWS were loose. I think I’ve fixed it but I doubt my dog will ever use it as she’s scared of it now…and really. I don’t blame her.2 days later it broke under neath her…DO NOT BUY THIS PILE OF CRAPThis is my dog's first experience with a dog ramp so I started on the lowest level to get her comfortable with the ramp. Unfortunately whenever I set it to the lowest level the ramp collapses. The notch is clearly not deep enough to lock in place. She is a 55 pound husky, which per the website description and pictures should be fully supported by this ramp. Maybe duct tape will hold the ramp in place ?This ramp broke and collapsed in the 1st week of use. One of the wooden bars split and a hinge pin broke into 3 pieces….while my poor little pup, who has a broken leg, was using it. He could have been badly hurt.Very good for old dogsOur dog could not climb the ramp,slid down it,so we put rubber car mats on it so he had traction.
